Re: K5 – 7th Grade Sunday School Curriculum

Dear Saints,

We are excited to inform you of the Lord’s providential leading in both His Children’s and Student Ministries. The Spirit of Christ has made us aware of His desire for us to reassess the curriculum used in our Children’s Sunday school. Our desire is to offer the curriculum most nearly complementing the word of our Lord and the ethos He is gifting to us for training up godly children.

Through this assessment and subsequent research, we discovered a new curriculum from One Story Ministries. The curriculum titled Investigating God’s Word, progresses through the entire Bible beginning with Kindergarten and continuing through the 7th grade. We will continue utilizing the Great Commission curriculum for the 2-year through 4-year classes. This adjustment also provides an excellent opportunity for our Eighth grade students to join the Senior High class that Mr. Dinkins teaches.

We look forward to implementing this new curriculum on September 12th when our students advance. We are thankful for the Lord’s continued and faithful guidance to those who shepherd His children and youth at Christ Church. Please pray with us, that our eyes might behold wonderful things in His Law.
